Exchange with leading media representatives

Since 1996, the Board of the Economic Society for Westphalia and Lippe has met once a year with the editors-in-chief of Westphalian newspapers for the Delecker Gespräch. Leading radio and TV journalists and the NRW correspondents of major national media are also invited.

The idea for the Peace of Westphalia Prize originated from the first Delecker Gespräch. In addition to this economic policy discussion with a keynote speech by a member of the Executive Board, the Executive Board of the WWL maintains an ongoing exchange with the Westphalian media on the development and profile of the prize, which is a defining feature of the company's work.
