More than 100 trustees are currently involved in the Economic Society. Together, they give the regional economy a strong voice for more Europe, for more exchange in politics, business and society.
The members of the WWL Board of Trustees are involved in awarding the International Peace of Westphalia Prize, take part in the Westphalian Peace Conference and our Trustees' Dinner, promote university research in the Westphalia and Lippe region and influence political decision-making in our region and beyond. The WWL promotes dialog between politics and business as well as among companies. Our Board of Trustees members come from East Westphalia, the eastern Ruhr region, Münsterland, Sauerland and Lippe.
